Í kjölfar þess að Heilbrigðisráðherra hefur sett á samkomubann frá og með miðnætti 15. mars hefur Viska ákveðið að grípa til eftirfarandi ráðstafana.

Responding to new information regarding COVID-19

Dear student.

Following the Minister of Health’s ban on gatherings bigger than 100 people, starting on midnight March 15., Viska has decided to take the following measures.

  • Courses that can be transferred to online courses will be taught online.
  • Courses that are over 8 people and cannot be taught online will be postponed.
  • Courses that are under 8 people and cannot be taught online will be taught at Viska.

These actions take into account the following elements of the gathering ban.

  • Having as few people in the house as possible
  • Ensure that a minimum distance of 2 meters is possible between individuals during lessons.

This means the following courses will be taught as usual at Viska.

  • Mathematics
  • Icelandic for foreigners

The courses that will be taught in distance education are the following:
